Cuyamaca College Hosts Annual Open House, showcasing over a dozen programs and services
Event will be in partnership with the Cuyamaca Water Conservation Garden’s Annual Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival
El Cajon —On Saturday, May 3, Cuyamaca College will host their annual Open House from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event showcases over a dozen academic and student support programs and services, including providing in-person registration and enrollment assistance to prospective students.
In collaboration with the Cuyamaca College Open House, the Water Conservation Garden will host the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, featuring local vendors, food trucks, plant sales, live music, family-friendly activities, and live butterfly releases. Both events are free and open to the public, located at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in El Cajon, CA.
In collaboration with the Cuyamaca College Open House, the Water Conservation Garden will hold the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, featuring local vendors, food trucks, plant sales, live music, family-friendly activities, and live butterfly releases. The Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture department has been hosting the festival for the last 30 years. Participating sponsors for the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival include the Heritage of the Americas Museum, Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture, Coyote Music Festival, and Cuyamaca College.
The Cuyamaca College Open House will provide information and guidance for new and soon-to-be students. Departments will highlight program and service benefits, and provide information about available career pathways. Student support services, including counselors, will be available to provide assistance and guidance on how to apply, get information about financial aid, and connect to other resources are available on campus. The Welcome Center will also be open.
