District Research, Planning & Institutional Effectiveness (RPIE)

Cuyamaca College

The serves as the campus liaison to the District RPIE Office. We strive to serve the entire campus community through collaborative research and inquiry. In partnership with the District RPIE Office and our campus practitioners, we manage several concurrent projects at any given time. The research projects that are most highly prioritized are those that are central to core college processes and initiatives, such as accreditation, program review and integrated planning, strategic planning, statewide programs and initiatives, and grant project evaluation. Ad hoc requests are prioritized based on factors such as external deadlines, relevance to the College鈥檚 , and intended utilization of research results. To initiate an ad hoc research request, please complete the . The IESE Office will review and prioritize ad hoc requests on a monthly basis in collaboration with the College鈥檚 Institutional Effectiveness Committee and/or the RPIE Office.

 

Grossmont College

The Grossmont team collaborates with campus-level practitioners to provide research for program review, accreditation, strategic planning, and other institutional priorities. While most campus-level research requests are part of the annual planning process, ad hoc requests may be submitted by campus faculty and staff and are evaluated based on institutional alignment, deadlines, and intended use. Ad hoc requests require a six-week lead time at minimum. To request an ad hoc research project outside the standard planning cycle, Grossmont faculty and staff should complete the online .
